New KISD chief of police
The Administrative Captain for the Klein ISD Police Department, David Kimberly, was promoted to Chief of Police at a board meeting on Feb. 10.
The Chief of Police in a school district is responsible for working with the district to ensure the safety and security of everyone.
“My goal is to continue to provide the best possible service we can to our students, faculty and staff,” Kimberly said. “The Police Department is working to give educational opportunities to the students, staff and community.”
David Kimberly has been on the force for approximately 19 years and stated that he is very excited about the challenges that lay ahead.
“I am honored to be the head of Klein ISD Police Department,” he said. “Klein ISD Police Department has been a leader in the Law Enforcement community for years and I look forward to being a part of continuing that tradition.”
