The Klein ISD will sponsor a trustee candidates’ forum Tuesday, Oct. 4, at 7 p.m. in the Klein Multipurpose Center Ballroom.

“At the candidates’ forum, those running for the Board of Trustees will be giving opening statements,” principal Randy Kirk said. “People attending will be given the opportunity to ask questions and receive answers from the candidates.”

Klein ISD school board positions 6, currently held by Paul Lanham, and 7, currently held by Rick Mann will be on the election ballot.

“The candidates’ forum is an open community event,” assistant principal Pam Dunn said. “Those that are present will be able to really come to know the views of the different candidates and be more informed when they get to the voting booth.”
