The Super Bowl is the biggest american football event of the year. The Super Bowl has been around since 1967. This year it will be held at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Bay, Florida. This will be the fourth time the Super bowl will be held in Tampa.

This year we are seeing Super Bowl history and the home team will be playing at their home stadium. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are the only team to do that in 54 super bowls.   

This year’s Super Bowl is the reigning champs Kansas City Chiefs facing off against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Super Bowl LV. The Chiefs are led by their star quarterback Patrick Mahomes ll, and their dominant Head Coach Andy Reid. The Buccaneers are led by their future hall of fame Quarterback Tom Brady and Bruce Arians, the head coach. 

The Chiefs are looking to go back to back in the Super Bowl wins after beating the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LIV. They beat them with a score of 31 to 20. Patrick Mahomes got Super Bowl MVP and is looking this year to repeat that again.

The Buccaneers are looking to get their second super bowl win in their franchise. There’s a lot of pressure on quarterback Tom Brady because he left the New England Patriots before the start of the season to go to Tampa. He’s trying to prove to New England that he is the G.O.A.T. 

Tom Brady is looking for his seventh Super Bowl this year. Bruce Arians is looking for his first super bowl win as a head coach after he won two when he was an assistant coach in Pittsburgh for the Steelers.  

Mahomes is looking to get his second Super Bowl win in four years after being drafted by the Chiefs in the first round in 2017. Mahomes was a backup to Alex Smith in his rookie season, but blew up the league in his second year as he recorded 5,097 yards and 50 touchdowns with a touchdown interception ratio of 50/12. Mahomes led the Chiefs to the AFC Conference Championship but lost to the Patriots Led by Tom Brady. Mahomes got MVP after the season.
