‘Ender’s Game’ is more than just a game
Earth is preparing for another war and Ender might just be the only one who can stop the battle for good. Ender’s Game is a novel by Orson Scott Card. It has won the Nebula Award and Hugo Award for best novel. The Ender’s Game saga consists of 12 novels, 12 short stories and 47 comic issues.
Ender’s Game is about Ender Wiggn, a six-year-old boy who lives in a world that has been attacked by an alien race, the buggers, who have almost wiped out humanity. To prepare for the next battle, the government has turned to breeding military geniuses. Ender Wiggn has proven through a monitor in the back of his neck that he is worthy of being one of these military geniuses.
Ender’s Game is a great science fiction novel. It does not evolve around the aliens and has no romance. The characters are well-developed and each one is different. Nothing is predicable. You will not know the whole story until you finish the book. This book is impossible to put down and the surprise ending makes it even better.
I highly recommend Ender’s Game.
