Recently, I saw the latest installment of the Percy Jackson movie series, Sea of Monsters. With a great plot and lots of twist and turns, this movie takes you on an adventure through Greek mythology that few have come back from.

Compared to the last movie, this one was well written and the director and the cameramen did a great job shooting the action scenes so up close that it made you feel like you were actually a part of the scene. My favorite character in the movie is Percy’s half-brother Tyson. Through the whole movie Tyson tries to make the best of the situations that he and his brother find themselves in. He also tries with everything in him to show his brother that even though he’s half Cyclopes, he is still normal.

Grover, Percy’s protector, does offer up some funny jokes but, it takes a basic knowledge of Greek mythology to get them. Overall, I give the movie 3 out of 5 stars. The movie was great and I recommend it to anyone to go see it.
