Hail To The King, Avenged Sevenfold’s latest album is a hit. With 10 songs on the standard edition and 12 on the deluxe, the album has fans raving. This is their first album with new drummer, Arin Ilejay. Ilejay took over for former drummer  Jimmy Sullivan, “The Rev”, who passed away Jan. 6, 2010. Their newest album is very much reminiscent of past metal bands such as Metallica, Pantera, Guns ‘N’ Roses and Iron Maiden, however, modern twists and surprises are also present on the tracks.

The songs are centered on guitar riffs and simplicity. There are no screams, only clean vocals, and the music is less busy than past albums.

This album has managed to reach number one on U.S. Billboard 200 as well as reach number one in multiple countries including, Brazil, United Kingdom and Ireland.

Despite negative reviews by other musicians, Hail To The King is an amazing album that will impress fans and leave them begging, no, screaming, for more.
