Physics students participated in the annual boat races in the natatorium May 2.

The major grade project is meant to help students learn buoyancy through hands-on application.

“Our boat looked like a bigger version of a box, it looked terrible,” junior Jacob Sanford said. “We actually got all the way across which was really cool.”

The races culminated with the annual faculty race, won by Associate Principal Steve Matheson and Assistant Principal Mandy Land.
