Temporary buildings arrived at the school last week on Feb. 18 . According to Assistant Principal Steve Matheson, the buildings are from Klein High School.
“Since they’ve opened up a significant portion of the new construction, they don’t need all the temporary buildings anymore,” Matheson said. “They anticipate that we will be needing them in the next couple of years so they moved them over here proactively because number one, they needed a place to store them and number two, we’re probably going to start needing them as soon as next year.”
The school is currently at full capacity, with every classroom in use. Assistant Principal Jeff Bailey said the possibility of hiring more teachers for next year will not be known until later in the semester.
