After what seemed like a blue-team win at last night’s Faculty Basketball Game, review of the final plays called the game a 61-61 tie.
With the blue team taking an early lead at the end of the first period, the red team quickly recovered, keeping the lead through the fourth period. However, the blue team began a steady comeback during the third period, shooting two three-point shots at double value during the “moneyball” period. Still behind in the final seconds, blue team member and Latin teacher Kyle Drugan scored, bringing the score to 61-60. However, final review brought the score to a tie.
