What you will need
- A thick sweater
- Foam block
- Felting needle
- Cookie cutter in shape of your desire
- A wove of wool
- Tape
- Iron
How To
- Put on your sweater. Tape the elbows to mark where the patches will go.
- Take off the sweater and put the foam block in the sleeve of your sweater
- Place your cookie cutter on the sleeve at the end of the tape. You want the shape to be a little bit above your elbow.
- Take a piece of wool and place it inside the cookie cutter. Be sure it’s thin, or else the edges of the patch will be too thick and stick out on the sides.
- To create your wool patch, poke at the wool with the felting needle. It will start to form its shape.
- When you’re done, iron it down to flatten it down and make sure it’s secure
- Repeat on the other elbow. Now you have a sweater that’s perfect for fall.
